My Relationship With the Classics

I AM HERE

Classical Civilizations is what I studied in college. I have a bachelor's degree in Classics with a minor in history. While those credentials don't make me an authority on the subject, they do tell you that I've spent years immersed in the field.

Translating ancient texts, visiting archaeological sites, reading history books - it was a good four years. While I never went on to a career in the field or graduate school, I've kept the classics present in my life, and now hope to spread the good word via Dictator for Life and its associated website.

I'll be putting my money where my mouth is right away - I'm off to Europe for the entire month of May. There I will be visiting some of the great archaeological sites of the ancient world. Stay tuned for updates.
